It can be difficult to gauge the true condition of a house on your own. This becomes practically impossible from a distance. If you’re a home buyer or a real estate investor, you need someone on your side who will help you discover whether or not the house is in good enough shape to purchase.
Selling a home is often a long, involved process. Fortunately, you can improve your odds of getting a fast sale by learning as much as possible about the property. Our Pre-Listing/Seller’s Inspection service will tell you everything you need to know about the positive and negative points for buyers.
Having a house built to your exact specifications is a dream come true for most people. However, you need to be aware that almost every house that’s ever been built has come with issues from day one. With our New Construction Inspection service, you’ll be able to get ahead of any existing problems before you move in.
Do you want to help ensure that everything is going according to plan during the construction of your future home? We perform New Construction Phase Inspections to make it easier to correct issues before things get out of hand. Any issues we discover will be reported to you within 24 hours, enabling you to take quick corrective action.
Don’t let your warranty expire without getting your newly constructed home inspected. We’ll take a look at everything covered by your warranty and will report on visually accessible existing problems we discover. Booking this service 10 to 11 months after your home was built should give you enough time to file any applicable claims.
Your home has regular maintenance needs. To stay on top of them, we highly recommend getting Home Maintenance Inspections. During this inspection service, we’ll inspect your home to look for any existing or developing maintenance concerns. This often saves clients a lot of money in the long run as they’re able to get small issues corrected instead of letting them become much more serious.
Anyone who is buying a home needs to pay especially close attention to the results of their home repair addendum. After you and the seller agree upon repairs and the work is reported as completed, it’s wise to get everything inspected one more time. A Re-Inspection helps protect you from becoming financially responsible for repairs that the seller failed to fix.
We’re happy to assist business owners with their Commercial Property Inspection needs. We inspect light commercial buildings such as storefronts, offices, single offices, and individual buildings. During this inspection, we’ll look at the building’s critical systems and components. Contact us to learn more about our commercial inspection services.
Mold can cause thousands of dollars in damages, not to mention the havoc it can wreak on your allergies. To help save you from this potentially costly and unhealthy issue, our home inspector is also licensed by TDLR as a Mold Assessment Technician (MAT #1312). He’ll inspect the property specifically with an eye toward mold concerns during the add-on mold inspection or a stand-alone mold and moisture intrusion inspection. Lab analysis of the samples will be performed in the local area with a normal turnaround time of only one day.
Flooding is a significant issue in the Greater Houston Area, as is the settling of foundation slab. In this optional add-on service, we use a ZipLevel to measure the current slope of the foundation slab itself (not the landscape elevation). It can be extremely informative to find out where the slab is at now, and then compare it to another survey reading in a year.
We provide Thermal Imaging as needed during our home inspection services. However, if you want to have thermal imaging used throughout the entire house, we recommend booking this add-on service. Thermal Imaging detects things that can’t otherwise be seen, including air infiltration and heat loss, damaged radiant heating systems, and broken seals within double-paned windows. This is also a proven way to uncover leaks and moisture intrusion, along with hot spots in the home and pest infestations.
Subcontractor Service
A sewer scope is an inspection of the lateral sewer lines from the house at or close to the foundation to the city sewer, HOA tap, and/or the septic tank. Our partner uses a camera to view the insides of the sewer lines to determine if there are any cracks, bellying, damages, clogs, or debris. Save yourself thousands of dollars by getting a sewer scope before buying a house!

Termites can go unnoticed until they cause catastrophic damage to your home. Whether you’re shopping for a home and suspect a termite issue, or you think your current home may be affected by termites, we can provide you with comprehensive testing, and help you understand your options for termite remediation if we do discover an infestation.
Drone inspections allow inspectors to see everything on the roof, including areas that might otherwise go unseen. They can take high-quality photos and videos, providing detailed information about problems such as leaks and damage. Inspections done by drones are much faster than the traditional method, requiring far fewer people and taking considerably less time.
